Old Motorola Radio Cancellation

Motorola is on course to discontinue their old generation of MOTOTRBO radios on 24th October 2016. The models being made obsolete are the Motorola DP2000 Series, DP3441, SL4000 Series, DP4000 Series and DM4000 Series.

Replacing the old range is the Motorola next generation. These new 2 way radios are packed with new features, enhancements and improvements to ensure workers are safer, more efficient and more productive, including:

  • Indoor location tracking option using integrated Bluetooth
  • Multi-constellation GNSS
  • Integrated accelerometer option for Man Down
  • Improved HazLoc portfolio
  • Integrated Wi-Fi option for remote firmware updates
  • Clearer audio thanks to redesigned audio amplifier
  • Up to 8% longer range due to improved receiver sensitivity
  • Higher power on SL4000e - increased to 3W
  • Extended battery life of up to 29 hours from innovative low voltage battery technology
  • Improved durability with higher IP ratings for DP4000e, DP3441e and DP2000e
  • Silent alert with new vibrating belt clip option for DP4000e and DP2000e series

New next generation models: DP2400e, DP2600e, DP3441e, DP4400e, DP4600e, DP4800e, SL4000e, DM4000e.
