Support & Maintenance
Resound has assembled a complete support and maintenance service offer that is designed to meet the wide variety of our customers’ needs.
Service Provision
- Telephone Support – direct access to our engineering professionals within the hours of maintenance cover.
- Site Visits – where telephone support cannot resolve the problem, then we will despatch an engineer to the customer site with diagnostic test equipment.
- Equipment Repair* – where economically viable, we can repair radio equipment in our in-house workshop.
- Equipment Replacement* – where agreed, we will replace faulty equipment with the same or equivalent equipment.
- Standby Equipment – for customers using our 24x7 maintenance service, we can arrange to hold standby equipment ready for rapid swap-out of faulty items.
* The inclusive equipment repair/replacement offer above only covers equipment that has become faulty/damaged through reasonable business usage and specifically excludes items damaged through obvious negligence or malice.
Coverage Levels
The Resound Maintenance Services cover a range of business needs and budgets.
- Office Hours (09:00-17:00 Monday-Friday) – a choice of ‘next working day’ or ‘3 working days’ options within which faulty equipment will be repaired/replaced. (NOTE: Customers that choose to acquire their radio equipment using our Managed Service (Long-Term Hire) financing option will automatically receive office hours support and maintenance coverage within their monthly fee.)
- 24 x 7- agreed response and fix options within which faulty equipment will be repaired/replaced.
