Resound win new contract to Provide South Central Ambulance Service with all their radio needs
Resound have been providing South Central Ambulance Service, previously Two Shires Ambulance Trust with reliable Radio Communication for over 15 years
The South Central Ambulance Service NHS Trust operates with a wide range of vehicles from conventional patient transport, specialist paramedic cars and ambulances through to high performance motorcycles.
Resound supply and maintain the Radio Systems for South Central Ambulance, we have experience in the installation of Tetra Digital, Automatic Vehicle Location and Analogue multi-channel radio systems in vehicles and on fixed sites.
This year we are providing 24/7 infrastructure maintenance. This covers Remote site maintenance, Microwave Links, Data Transmitters, Vehicle AVL / Satnav and telematics.

Resound has been required to program, supply and install vehicle mounted communication equipment in over 120 vehicles which is fully compatible with the existing ‘touch screen’ control system. All repair and maintenance is carried out on site at the relevant Ambulance station ensuring vehicles are off the road for the least amount of time.
Recently Resound have installed Communication equipment in both the Control Room and the Major Incident vehicle with both VHF an UHF Communications equipment
