Handset Location

PinPointer is an application that determines the physical local of a radio handset and displays that in a useful way.  It works with both analogue and digital radio systems.



The system installation comprises a number of low power beacons which provide the handset with positional information.  The handset will communicate its Identity and Position to the control point as necessary.  In the event of an incident, an emergency button on the handset can be used to summon assistance and the location display will allow support staff to be directed to the correct location straightaway.  

This ability is very useful in improving lone worker safety.
